The Joy of Fake Victorian Advertising

With Doctor Geof

Join Doctor Geof on a journey back in time as he introduces you to the persuasive techniques the Victorians used in their advertising and marketing.

Marvel at how similar techniques are still used today and take some time to create your own Victorian advert to take home.

"The Test" -
Escape Room

With Liz Cable, Stella Wisdom &
Marion Tessier

You have been chosen! You serve the Empire and the "Empire Needs You!"
Take part in this confidential mission with a secret aim.

As a new recruit, all you know is where and when your team of fellow officers needs to report in - the rest is “need to know” (on the day).

This is a table-top Escape-Room style game; where you will play four mini games with puzzles, codes and ciphers.

You can play as an individual or as a team of up to 5 people.

We may add recruits to your team to make up the numbers - a great way to meet new people.

If you're interested in taking "The Test", please sign up in advance

Tea Duelling

As one of the two inventors of tea-duelling resides in Leeds, we would be remiss in not including it in our schedule.

Steep yourself in the history of this Steampunk sport and test your mettle in a game of skill and wits.

A Malted Milk biscuit stands between you, your opponent, a mug of tea and victory!

Miniature teapot racing

A slight mishap with a shrink ray means we now have miniature teapot racing.
Luckily, all the vehicles affected are still able to operate efficiently.
So, visit the Annex, pick your pot and watch to see who wins a prize.
