Accessibility

The Abbey House Museum is an accessible-friendly venue.

The museum has a wheelchair, scooter and pram-friendly entrance into the Trader's Marketplace.

However, please note, the marketplace is on cobbles and some areas of the market may be narrower than others.

There is a ramp into the Old Café, where we will be holding our workshops and talks.

There is also a single elevator behind the pub to gain access to the exhibition and everything else upstairs.

Tea Duels and tasty morsels for lunch will be available at the Rose Room inside the Kirkstall Abbey Café, across the street. To get there, as you leave Abbey House Museum, there's a ramp to one side of the gardens. This leads you down to the traffic lights and the Cafe is across the street, next to the Kirkstall Abbey ruins.
